April 2009: Course Development grant from Rensselaer's Office of Entrepreneurship. This grant is for developing an interdisciplinary course on Systems and Synthetic Biology with Cynthia Collins (CBE).

March 2010: I received an NSF CAREER grant.

July 2010: An NSF collaborative research grant for microbiorobotics with MinJun Kim (Drexel).

December 2010: Sina Afshari and Nick Cooper finished their MS thesis.

May 2011: Andy Winn receives a SMART Fellowship.

October 2011: ARO funding for the use of synthetic biology in microbiorobotics (PI: MinJun Kim (Drexel), co-PI: Cynthia Collins (RPI), Agung Julius (RPI)).

October 2011: Yan Ou and Andy Winn passed the doctoral qualification exam.
