Hi, I’m Shehan.
Ph.D. candidate in the Intelligent Systems Lab at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), supervised by Prof. Qiang Ji. My research focuses on computer vision and probabilistic machine learning. Currently, I’m working on open-world object detection.
About Me
I’m a third-year Ph.D. candidate in the Intelligent Systems Lab at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), advised by Prof. Qiang Ji. My research focuses on human action recognition and uncertainty-aware video understanding, using Bayesian deep learning and probabilistic machine learning to build more reliable models.
